Meet Stephen Colbert's successor on Comedy Central

It's time to say goodbye to The Colbert Report, but it's also time to say hello to The Minority Reportwith Larry Wilmore, which will take over Colbert's time slot on Comedy Central in 2015.

So who's Larry Wilmore? The 52-year-old has been The Daily Show's "senior black correspondent" since 2006 and has appeared in a whole slew of hilarious bits, including this one from just last week, where he has quite a bit of fun with Donald Sterling and Cliven Bundy.

Wilmore has also kept plenty busy outside his correspondent duties. He co-created The PJs alongside Eddie Murphy, as well as The Bernie Mac Show, and he wrote for In Living Color, The Jamie Foxx Show and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. He's written a book, I'd Rather We Got Casinos and Other Black Thoughts, which came out in 2009.And most recently, he's the showrunner and executive producer of Black-ish, an ABC sitcom that just got picked up. He's also seen plenty of onscreen time in everything from How I Met Your Mother to The Office to Happy Endings.

Here's to hoping he continues bringing the funny to Comedy Central at 11:30 p.m.
