Merbs Candies has rolled out the bionic apples for fall and they're already flying off the shelves. The entire operation happens in the kitchen at Merbs in South County and each bionic apple is made by hand.

"We use 40% whipping cream, we use southern pecans, and it's all made back here," explained Teri Bearden, Merbs Candies.

"The cook has been doing these apples for the last 20 years," said Pattie Penrose, Merbs Candies.
