They're young & full of energy but sometimes they can be a bit messy.

That's why it's important that we give our kids the proper tools to help them stay healthy and germ free.

We sat in on a class when Nurse Christy Downing was teaching a vibrant group of 3 and 4 year olds about the importance of washing their hands

She tells them to sing the happy birthday song all the way thru while they do it.

But germs beware because these kids know where you're hiding...

"Like elephants" one kid says.

The good news is any kind of soap can combat against those microscopic menaces

Now's the perfect time to keep on your kids to wash their hands because it's cold and flu season

And it's still not too late for the flu shot

But I'm sure these kids would just rather stick with the hand washing, because now they know why it's so important
