Sylvan Learning Center in Waterloo, Illinois is decked out for the holidays. But it's also that time of year to prep for report card season. "In the next couple weeks, moms and dads are going to be getting those report cards home... and it can be frustrating for parents and children alike," said Chris Tedder, Sylvan Waterloo Center Director.

The center director says not only are some students struggling with math, but often, their parents don't know how to help. "Things have changed a lot in how math is being taught."
