KSDK -- It's a musical journey that's taken them from Florissant, Missouri to Nashville Tennessee. The three sisters who were named finalists on NBC's "Nashville Star" said they won't give up their dream to become country music stars.

"Just through this whole show, it made me realize what I really, really want to do," Amy Krechel, 21, said.

Krechel, her twin sister Angela, and younger sister Courtney, 17, make up the trio known as "Pearl Heart." The three have been performing together for years, formerly under the name "Me Too."

Earlier this week, they sang the national anthem at a Cardinals game at Busch Stadium.

There will be more performances to come, they said. Next week, they will meet with Jeffrey Steele, their mentor and one of the "Nashville Star" judges. When the act was eliminated from the competition, Steele said he would continue to work with them.

"I think you are superstars," he said on the program.

The Krechel sisters took him up on his offer. They said they plan to put together a few songs to market.

"We'll go with him to a label and pitch it to them. And hopefully get two or three good songs. And hopefully the label will pick it up," Amy Krechel said.

Although Nashville is their new home, the Florrisant natives say they won't forget their roots. Their visits to St. Louis involve stops to their favorite places.

"We get a big cooler. And we go to Dierberg's and buy some Dierberg's Pizza. And Fitz's Root Beer," Courtney Krechel said.
