Teens compete for prizes and scholarships

ST. LOUIS - Some of St. Louis' most talented teens took the stage at the Fox Theatre Friday night.

Twelve high school acts are competing for college scholarships and prizes in the fourth annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition, sponsored by the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation.

The acts ranged from singers to violinists to hip hop dancers and rappers. Performing arts professionals judged the original 107 groups and narrowed it down to the 12 final acts.

A winner has not yet been announced.
