Tracy Morgan cancels STL show

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Days after New Jersey car accident left the actor and comedian seriously injured, Tracy Morgan announced Monday that he has canceled his show in the Gateway City.

The show was scheduled for July 26 at the Lumiere Theatre. Details regarding ticket refunds are still being finalized.

As of Monday, Morgan was in "critical but stable" condition, according to his rep. A broken leg sustained in the accident required surgery, but contrary to some reports, it did not require amputation.

The Wal-Mart truck driver allegedly responsible for the accident had not slept for 24 hours before the crash, New Jersey authorities said.

Kevin Roper, 35, faces charges including death by auto and four counts of assault by auto. He is free on $50,000 bail and faces a court hearing Wednesday, the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office said.
