The Planter's House team is preparing for another Miracle

Miracle, a holiday themed pop-up bar, is back by popular demand

In a corner building on Indiana where an old Falstaff sign swings over the door, the team from Planter's House is preparing for another miracle.

"It's hard to estimate, but we think that we had 350 people a night," Jamie Kilgore says.

The holiday themed pop-up bar that seemed to fit St. Louisans last year like an ugly Christmas sweater.

"It was crazy!"

So it's coming back, but in a new building with new cocktails.

"The Snowball Old Fashioned is still on the menu, but it has a slight tweak from what it was last year just to keep people on their toes," she adds.

She's pulled out her red and green overalls with the hope of once again stirring up some memories with their Clark Griswold like decorations.

"I just want nastalgia and kitch. I know I have a lot of sentimental feelings about Christmas and my childhood and I just kind of want to resurrect those feelings for other people as well."

So they're unpacking boxes and unwrapping an early Christmas present.

"You can drink out of Santa's head, but more exciting than that we have Santa's pants mugs. They're pretty silly but it's part of the fun," Kilgore says.

Fun that will continue through New Year's Eve and then Ted Kilgore,Ted Charak and Jamie are giving St. Louis another gift.

"At that point we're going to undecorate, sleep a little, make a few subtle changes and reopen as a new bar under the planter's house management team called Small Change.

Until then join the angry elf behind the bar and spread some holiday cheer at the ultimate Christmas party!

Miracle is at 2800 Indiana. It will open November 24th at 4 and will be open through New Year's Eve. It it will be open from 4pm to 1am Monday through Saturday, 4 to midnight on Sundays.
