Police are looking for a prisoner who stole a van in southern Missouri Monday afternoon.
A prisoner who was being transported by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department overpowered an officer and stole a marked gray transport van. The prisoner has been identified as Christopher Hunt, 33.
The van was last seen traveling on US 63 southbound from south of Edgar Springs.
Texas County is about 150 miles from St. Louis.
