ST. LOUIS – Seasoned journalist Stuart Boslow has been promoted to 5 On Your Side assistant news director. Boslow has served as morning news director since April 2017.
As assistant news director, Boslow will oversee daily news and weather coverage, focusing on content and presentation. He will partner with News Director Tiffani Lupenski to develop daily strategies, work with various areas of the newsroom to develop the station’s storytelling, and find more creative ways to engage viewers during shows.
Boslow will also drive origination, collaboration, and integration between broadcast and digital news staff.
“It’s such an exciting time to be part of the 5 On Your Side news team,” said Boslow. “There’s so much great talent and innovation here, and I’m looking forward to expanding my role beyond ‘Today in St. Louis’ to help all of our shows and digital products grow to new heights.”
Boslow has a track record of fully-integrating digital properties into news coverage decisions throughout his more than 16 years in broadcast news. He started his career working on the morning show at KTVN in Reno, Nevada before working his way up to the late newscast. From there, he moved to KENS in San Antonio and became the late news producer, later becoming executive producer. He spent nine more years as an executive producer and special projects producer at KTVT, London Broadcasting Company, and WJXT.

Boslow and his husband, Chad, moved to St. Louis in spring 2017 and reside in south St. Louis with their dog, Dobby. They’re thrilled to call St. Louis home and enjoy experiencing the local culture and eating their way through amazing restaurants in the bi-state area.
