ST. LOUIS COUNTY – A St. Louis County man was charged with promoting and possessing child pornography Friday.
After conducting a search of 49-year-old Jonathan Askew’s home, police found over 1000 videos and pictures of child pornography. Among those pictures and videos were images of Askew molesting two children, ages 6 and 4.
Officials said Askew took the images and videos in August, according to court documents.
Askew has been charged with two counts of promoting child pornography, one count of possessing child pornography and four counts of statutory sodomy where the victim was under 14-years-old.
Askew is being held on a $200,000 cash-only bond.
