BUFFALO, NY - Comcast Sportsnet in Philadelphia reports that Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was involved in an altercation early Sunday morning with two off-duty police officers.

CSN says McCoy, former NFL running back Curtis Brinkley, and two other men were all involved.

A police report obtained by to 2 On Your Side says the altercation began over ownership of a bottle of champagne.

The police report says one of the off-duty officers was punched and knocked to the ground, and then while on the ground he was punched, kicked, and stomped.

The second off-duty officer and security guards broke up the fight, according to police.

Everyone was ejected from the club.

The police report says the first officer took himself to the hospital where he was treated for a cut to his eye, a broken nose, broken ribs, and a sprained thumb.

The second officer, according to police, was admitted to the hospital where he received eight stitches over his eye and is being treated for a possible skull fracture.

The police report adds that the four men were identified through photographs, and witnesses.

Police also say surveillance video was recovered from outside the club, showing everyone being ejected, but the incident inside was not captured on video.

The Buffalo Bills released a two sentence statement Monday morning saying only, "We are aware of the reports regarding LeSean McCoy and in the process of gathering more information. We will not provide any further comment at this time."
