St. Louis (KSDK) - Several thousand taxpayers waiting to receive refund check are now being told it could be June before they're finally paid.
The IRS says a problem with the way some of the returns is causing computers to mark the returns as errors.
The problem impacts people who took advantage of the first-time home buyer program in 2008.
The IRS says it is aware of the problem and is working to fix it.
