ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - More and more people have decided to become their own boss and start a small business, but as you probably know it's easier said than done.
Next week is Small Busisness Week, which celebrates and recognize small business owners. It is held May 7th - 11th in cooperation with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The Small Business Network of Eastern Missouri is one of the biggest in the U.S., based on number of events. It features topics like Do's and Don'ts of Hiring and Firing, SBA Loans, and the Keys to Financial Success.
The events are held to provide information to business owners on: HR management, exporting, marketing, intellectual property and, of course, obtaining financing.
