KUSA - Nine people have reported injuries – including broken jaws – as a result of the tops coming off of Samsung washing machines unexpectedly, prompting a recall of 2.8 million of the appliances.
Thirty four models are subject to the recall, NBC Los Angeles reports.
In addition to the injuries, there are 733 reports of excessive vibration of the machines.
Samsung is offering customers a free in-home repair, a rebate toward a new washing machine or refund if you bought one in the last 30 days.
