KSDK -- Local executives spent the day locked up at the Ameristar Casino Conference Center making phone calls to family, friends and coworkers on behalf of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Each volunteer had to raise $2,009 to bail themselves out of the mock lockup.

Lockups were also held at Lumiere Place downtown and at Araka restaurant in Clayton.

The events brought in $300,000 for the MDA and the money stays in the St. Louis area.
