KSDK -- On Easter weekend in 1982, St. Louisans awoke to find an unusual scene outside.
St. Louis was greeted with 2.3 inches of snow and below freezing temperatures.
Opening Day was just a few days away, and workers frantically cleared the snow from the stadium to make it ready for baseball.
The snow may have proven to be a good omen, because the Cardinals would go on to win the World Series that year.
