St. Louis (KSDK) -- Collinsville native Tim Forneris worked as a groundskeeper for the Cardinals and was at the game when Cardinal Mark McGwire hit his 62nd home run.  

While Forneris could have sold the ball for a million dollars, he decided to give the ball back to McGwire during a ceremony at Busch Stadium on September 9, 1998.

Forneris then got to enjoy a free vacation to Florida.
