At the St. Louis Science Center's Grossology Exhibition, leave your manners at the door. Because this exhibition is truly disgusting.
Based on a popular children's book, Grossology gives an up close and *very* personal look at the body.
This is a science in disguise exhibition where you get to do hands on interactive exhibits to learn while you're really having a blast.
One of the first things Grossology teaches us is why we burp. By pumping this display's stomach with soda you can watch as pressure builds.
Next the exhibit heads South.
So we can learn more about why we, well "pass gas".
Yet another hands-on exhibit let's you shoot balls, or um, boogers, into a nose.
If you haven't had enough, try wandering inside this giant nose to see what it's like in there.
Since you now know what everything sounds like, it's time to find out what everything smells like.
If you're brave enough, you can try smelling different parts of the body and then guess what you smelled.
If that's a little too interactive for you, you can try your hand at a multiple choice test instead to see how well you know grossology.
It's an exhibit about things we all do, even though we don't always talk about them.
That is, until now.
