The company's new map feature shows you where your connections are, and who can help you get to the next level. You'll probably want to print it out and compare it to the person standing next to you.
"You can find jobs if you look in the right place, and leverage your LinkedIn right, but more, you want the right jobs and opportunities, and do the things you enjoy, right?" said Ali Imam, a LinkedIn programmer.
So to help you find the right jobs, linked in also lets you search for, send, and get instant messages ala Twitter. While taking the day's job updates with you on a new smartphone app.
"They key question for us in the new talent economy is, 'How do we ensure that the vast amounts of people, how do we equip them with the right set of tools and the right set of insights in order for them to be valuable again?'" said Deep Nishar, a LinkedIn programmer.
