Clayton, Missouri (KSDK)-- The Castle Point neighborhood resident accused of opening fire on employees of a car repossession company last fall has pleaded not guilty in the case, which is now scheduled to be set for trial.
Phylida Edwards, 40, who lives in the 10,300 block of Baron in north St. Louis County, is charged with discharging a firearm at a vehicle and armed criminal action for an incident last October 22nd outside her home.
Police officials allege Edwards fired at least three times at workers from the Metropolitan Repossession and Recovery team who were repossessing Edwards van.
Nobody was hurt in the ambush, but the vehicle involved was struck by the gunfire during the incident. Edwards is currently free on a $50,000.00 bond.
