Vienna, Missouri (KSDK)--  Officials with the Maries County Sheriff's Department, west of St. Louis, arrested two people early this morning after finding a mobile meth lab in their vehicle.

Sheriff Chris Heitman tells NewsChannel 5 deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person on state Route 68 near St. James around 3:30 a.m.

Officers found a vehicle which had run out of gas on the road, and in the process of investigating the vehicle, located two men and the components of what are often referred to as a 'Shake and Bake' methamphetamine lab on wheels.

Tommy Sawyer, 27, of Bland, Missouri, is charged with attempted manufacture of controlled substances.  The other man arrested, identified as 33-year-old Leroy Seymour, of St. James, was jailed on an outstanding warrant from a neighboring county.
