Ladue, Missouri (KSDK)-- Police investigated a three vehicle collision on northbound I-170 just north of Ladue Road.
The crash occurred around 4:00 a.m. Thursday after police received a call about a possible head-on accident on the inner-belt near Ladue. Investigators say the crash was caused by a southbound car in the northbound lanes.
Once officers arrived, they located the crash scene and determined that a total of three vehicles were involved with all three drivers being transported to area hospitals.
The lanes were blocked during the investigation, but reopened around 8:00 a.m.
No word yet on whether the wrong-way driver was simply displaced, lost, or if other circumstances played a role in the incident.
