Imagine if you couldn't see or maybe you just couldn't see well, not well enough to read the paper any way.

That's where these volunteers come in.

They are a part of a radio station for people who are blind or have low vision or another physical ability.

This is "Minds Eye Radio" a free service and United Way Agency that's been around for 38 years.

Mind's Eye is on the air 24 hours a day, listeners used to need a special closed circuit radio to hear them but now it's as easy as a click of the mouse. You can hear them stream online!

Bob Blanchard volunteers his time each week to read the comics out loud.

He's been doing it for 15 years.

It's a station that now online reaches all over the world; these volunteers bring printed words to life for anyone who would like to listen.
