Bridgeton tornado clean-up help needed

Bridgeton, Mo (KSDK) -- The City of Bridgeton has partnered with Service International to coordinate volunteers and clean-up relief efforts for residents of the community.

Bridgeton residents who need assistance and volunteer's helps should call the Bridgeton Community Center at 314-739-5599 and they will provide contacts for obtaining assistance.

People who want to volunteer should go to Grace Church at 2695 Creve Coeur Mill Road at the intersection of Creve Coeur Mill Road and McKelvey Road.  They should wear weather appropriate clothing and sturdy hard soled shoes or work boots.  Work gloves and safety glasses will be available.  The work schedule with be Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m..

If you want to donate money to the Bridgeton Tornado Relief Fund, contact US Bank.  Contributions can be made at any US Bank branch or can be mailed.  Checks must be payable to the the Bridgeton Tornado Relief Fund.  All proceeds will go to the relief of the residents.
