Benton, IL (KSDK) - A Smithboro, Illinois man was indicted Wednesday on charges of production and possession of child pornography, US Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois Stephen Wigginton said.
According to court documents, 41-year-old Darrell Stewart Jr. was charged with three counts of production of child pornography involving two minors and one count of possession of child pornography.
Stewart's arraignment has been scheduled for July 6 at 10:30 a.m. in East St. Louis.
If convicted, Stewart faces between 15 and 30 years on each production charge and up to 10 years imprisonment on the possession charge.
