CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo (KSDK)- Police may have a new lead into the disappearance of a Missouri mother of triplets.
Jacque Waller, a native of Farmington, hasn't been seen since June 1st and now police say business cards belonging to the 39- year-old mother were found near a mailbox on the side of the road. The cards were found on Monday near the Proctor and Gamble Plant in Cape Girardeau County, about three miles from where Waller's car was found.
Waller was last seen in Jackson, Missouri, which is about 110 miles south of Saint Louis.
Waller's family says on the day she went missing she was in Jackson finalizing a divorce with her husband Clay Waller. Clay has been labeled a person of interest in the case. Police say he is now starting to speak with them.
Waller's family hopes the case will be solved soon and think with the new developments it will. They say they won't stop working until they get justice for Jacque. Police are not stopping either. On Thursday, they were searching through the area where the business cards were found. Police are also working on finding out how and when the cards got there.
"It is apparent from where they were found, it should have been seen early on with as many people going to these mailboxes. If it would have been there from day one is seems to be and seems that it should have been seen from where she had found it," said Chief James Humphreys with the Jackson Police Department.
Another search is scheduled to take place this Saturday in the area where the business cards were found. About 250 people are expected to help.
This case is now getting national attention. "The Today Show" and "Good Moring America" have picked up the story. "Good Morning America" interviewed Waller's family on Thursday morning and "The Today Show" will on Saturday.
We will have much more on this story including a sit down interview with Jacque Waller's family coming up on Newschannel5 at 5 and 6.
