St. Louis (KSDK) - Darius Miles, a former NBA player and East St. Louis native, was arrested after allegedly brining a loaded gun to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.
NewsChannel 5 has confirmed he was booked into St. Louis County Jail and released around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, pending warrants for unlawful use of a weapon.
The Transportation Security Administration said the gun was discovered through the screening process at Concourse A around 3:30 p.m.
In 2009, Miles was arrested for driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Miles was drafted into the NBA directly out of East St. Louis High School in 2000. He last played professional basketball in 2009 with the Memphis Grizzlies.
