Bridgeton, MO (KSDK) - An 18-wheeler jackknifed on Interstate 70 Wednesday morning that caused delays and headaches for commuters has been removed and all lanes have reopened.
The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes on I-70 at N. Lindbergh Boulevard.
Only one lane was left open for traffic to pass. The ramp to northbound Lindbergh was also blocked.
Authorities said 75 gallons of fuel were spilled in the accident and needed to be cleaned from the roadway.
The tractor trailer was cleared from the scene around 10:20 a.m. and the lanes reopened around 11:00 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
