St. Louis (KSDK) - An inmate who escaped from the Medium Security Institution on Friday has been captured.
St. Louis police confirm Lorenzo Pollard was taken into custody without incident Sunday night at 21st and Branch streets.
Investigators say Pollard threatened several guards with a home made weapon, broke a window, jumped two stories to the ground, outran a guard and scaled two razor wire fences before getting away.
He was being held on theft, property damage and resisting arrest charges.
