St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - A St. Louis University scientist has made an amazing archaeological discovery.
Dr. Tom Finan, Director of the Center for International Studies at SLU, with the help of his colleagues, unearthed two seventh century skeletons during a six year excavation project on private property in western Ireland.
His work is the culmination of a 10 year study of medieval churches in Ireland.
What makes the skeletons so unusual are that they were buried with stones the size of baseballs in their mouths.
Watch my Google+ interview with Dr. Finan to find out more, and check out the many links on this web page.
