Chesterfield, MO (KSDK) - Cardinals broadcaster for FOX Sports Midwest, Dan McLaughlin, was arrested Sunday, September 25, after he was involved in a car accident in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Police say 37-year-old McLaughlin struck a street sign at Baxter and Isle View Drive, and then left the scene.
He was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to exercise the highest degree of care.
Charges are currently pending in Chesterfield Municipal Court.
He was released on $750 bond.
This is the second time McLaughlin has been charged with driving while intoxicated.
McLaughlin was arrested August 16, 2010 after an officer responding to a report of an erratic driver stopped him on Interstate 64 in Chesterfield.
He refused a breathalyzer test, and pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in November.
In his plea deal, the state did not revoke his license. Instead, he was ordered to serve two years of probation.
