Washington, MO (KSDK) - Layoffs will soon begin in Washington, Missouri.
According to the St. Louis Business Journal, workers at Harman Industrial Industries will begin to get pink slips starting Monday.
NewsChannel 5 reported earlier this month that the company will close by the middle of this year.
Harman makes electronic systems for cars and is moving operations to Mexico and other plants in the U.S.
In all, 237 employees here will lose their jobs.
