911 call released in Jaime Gonzalez school shooting

Brownsville, TX (KGBT/CNN) - We're now hearing the 911 call made from a Brownsville, Texas middle school where a student was shot this week.

Jaime Gonzalez, 15, had a pellet gun and was shot and killed when he refused police orders to put down his weapon.

Caller: "... He's got the gun, he's in the hallway drawing."

Dispatcher: "He's in the hallway?"

Caller: "He's drawing the gun, he might."

Dispatcher: "Okay I have a team going out there, okay."

Background: "Yes sir we have a police situation, we have a student who brought a gun, we have police on campus."

Caller: "Oh gosh, there's shooting going on."

Dispatcher: "I need you to leave the building already."

Background: "Nobody out, he's running through the hall, he's running through the hall."

No other students or employees were injured.
