Troy, IL (KSDK) - A Metro East man was arrested and charged for allegedly videotaping a woman in a public restroom at a local market.

According to Sgt. James E. Newcombe, a spokesman for the Troy Police Department, the incident occurred at a business in the 500 block of Edwardsville Road.

The suspect, identified as 21-year-old Jonathan Spotanski, turned himself in to police Thursay.

Spotanski was charged with unauthorized video recording, Newcombe said. He had worked at the market, but has since resigned.
