Boulder, CO (Sports Network) - Carlon Brown scored 19 points to lead the
Colorado Buffaloes to a 64-63 verdict over the Arizona Wildcats in a Pac-12
battle at the Coors Events Center.
Spencer Dinwiddie added 13 points in the win for Colorado (13-6, 5-2 Pac-12),
which also got 12 points from Austin Dufault.
Jesse Perry finished with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead
the way for Arizona (13-7, 4-3), while Kyle Fogg contributed 16 points.
Solomon Hill got into the mix as well, netting 10 points to go with 10 boards
for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats put forth a 13-of-16 effort at the foul line during the opening
period of play that afforded the squad with a 39-35 halftime edge.
In the second half, however, the Buffaloes kept Arizona in check to the tune
of a miserable 25.9 percent from the floor. Colorado shot at a lackluster 37.9
percent clip itself, keeping the contest close throughout the frame. The
Buffaloes finally prevailed though, when a three-point attempt at the buzzer
by Kevin Parrom went long.
The Wildcats hit just 3-of-20 from beyond the arc during the meeting.
