St. Louis (KSDK)- The social media site Pinterest is an addicting, fun site for women, but now it's generating some buzz among men. After our story last week, we got literally hundreds of responses from our fans.

"Board of Man", on Pinterest, was created by Drew Hawkins, of Brainwads, in October of 2011.  After just a week, they had 200 followers and now, four months later, over 70,000 followers. This new trend among men doesn't appear to be tailing off and you be surprised what guys are repining.

After seeing these impressive numbers, NewsChannel 5 posted a question about men on Pinterest was posted on Facebook to see what our users are saying.

The results, was a mixed bag of responses. Some women were posting about how their men use their account to look at boards and pins, and then some men were completely fine with admitting their interest.

Ashley W. said, "Luke doesn't do it, but he looked up on my account to get gift ideas for me for Xmas!". W

Josh B didn't feel the same. He posted against men on Pinterest on his blog, stating, " I think the idea is brilliant; but, there are other places I personally would rather spend my time....Following a bunch of other dudes' wives on Pinterest is a bit of a social no-no."

The social media site is continuing to grow no matter how you look at "pinners" and their demographic. The sharing of photos and other ideas is simplified and has created a unique online site for all.
