Clayton, MO (KSDK) - A Kansas church known for protesting at military funerals is now targeting two St. Louis area high schools.

Westboro Baptist Church plans to bring its anti-homosexual views to Fort Zumwalt East High School and Clayton High School next week.

Clayton police first alerted school officials about the protest last week, but the Fort Zumwalt protest only appeared on the church's website Friday.

After days of planning, Clayton officials have designated protest areas on campus.

On Monday, parking will be sharply limited and Topton Way will be closed between Brighton Way and the north entrance to the high school.

Meanwhile, students are selling t-shirts and bracelets to raise money for the Gay-Straight Alliance organization.

Westboro plans to be at Fort Zumwalt at 6:55 a.m. and at Clayton at 7:50 a.m.

In the past, the church has received national attention for protesting at military funerals because they believe God punishes troops for America's tolerance of homosexuality.

Last year, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the church's right to protest at funerals.
