St. Louis, Mo (KSDK) - St. Louis Police now say they believe a stolen van from a daycare was used to ram an ATM into a bank in south St. Louis.

Officers arrived to the Southern Commerical Bank in the 7200 block of South Broadway around 3:45 a.m. Monday to find an ATM smashed into the side of the building.

Police say it appears the suspects stole a van from a daycare and then slammed into the ATM, pushing it into the side of the building leaving a large hole in the bank. The suspects got away.

The incident remains under investigation.
