St. Louis (KSDK) - Election documents found on the side of the road Tuesday night were found by a another driver along Manchester Road in Kirkwood.
St. Louis County Election Board members believe a volunteer left the bag of records on top of a car and then drove off.
On Wednesday, the Election Board said the bag contained a record of who voted, and which party they declared, along with a cell phone and palm pilot.
They said all of the information in that package matched what was on the voting machine so the board says there's no controversy with the results.
