St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - That old computer stopped functioning? Is your cell phone no longer the hip new thing? Got a video game system collecting dust? Don't just toss your old electronics in the dumpster - recycle them!
Computer St. Louis is hosting a home electronics recycling event next month for city residents eager to clear out space in their residences.
The event takes place Saturday, March 10 from 8 a.m. to noon at Computer St. Louis, 9282 Watson Road.
Electronics contain hazardous materials, such as lead, mercury, arsenic and cadmium. By recycling your unused home electronics, you can keep these dangerous contaminants out of landfills and away from water supplies.
