SUV slams into Ferguson restaurant overnight
Ferguson, MO (KSDK) - Ferguson Police say a female driver was parked in a McDonald's drive-thru overnight along West Florissant Avenue in Ferguson when she fell asleep.
Moments later, police say the driver then stepped on the gas and traveled across four lanes of traffic near Ferguson Avenue before slamming into the front of the New King Chop Suey restaurant.
The driver of the SUV was not injured during the crash, but was arrested by authorities on outstanding warrants. The damage to the restaurant is considered minor.
