St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office charged a local man Friday for allegedly shooting and killing his wife during a domestic dispute.
According to Schron Jackson, a spokeswoman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the incident happened in the 5000 block of Cote Brilliante around 11:40 a.m. Thursday.
The woman, identified as 43-year-old Kristie Steed, was found inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Kristie Steed's husband, 52-year-old Terry Steed, had a self-inflicted graze wound to the head but was determined to be fit for jail confinement.
Terry Steed was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action. He's bring held in jail without bond.
