Fairview Heights, IL (KSDK) - Charges have been filed against a 20-year-old St. Louis woman who police believe was part of an attack against a Red Lobster waitress.
Ania D. Wilkes was charged with mob action and aggravated battery, both of which are felonies.
The incident happened December 30, 2011 at the Red Lobster in Fairview Heights. A waitress was attacked by four females who were seated at a table she was serving.
NewsChannel 5 first reported this story in February when police released cell phone video and asked for help identifying the women.
Police say the public saw news broadcasts of the video and led to the identification of three of the four suspects.
Wilkes is the first suspect to be charged.
More charges are expected at a later date.
Wilkes is not yet in custody.
