St. Louis (KSDK) -- It was a very special Easter Sunday at Greater Mount Carmel Baptist Church in St. Louis. In addition to prayers and songs, there was something else, applause.

Reverend Earl Nance Junior returned to the pulpit Sunday for the first time since suffering a massive heart attack in December.

During the Easter Sunday sermon, Rev. Nance talked about the heart attack that nearly took his life. He also thanked the congregation for its support during his recovery.
