St. Louis (KSDK) - Police have released a description of the suspect who robbed a downtown St. Louis credit union.
Gateway Metro Credit Union in the 900 block of Chestnut was robbed just after noon Monday.
The suspect is described as a black male, and appears to be between 25 and 30-years-old. He is between 5'5" and 5'7" tall and weighs approximately 160-170 pounds. He has a medium complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. He was wearing a white shirt underneath the sweatshirt.
Police say he walked into the bank and gave the teller a note. He indicated he had a weapon, but did not display one.
He left the scene on foot and headed toward Pine.
