Terminal 1 at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport
St. Louis (KSDK) - An Airport Terminal Services employee was injured this morning in an incident at Lambert St. Louis International Airport.
An airport spokesperson says around 7:30 a.m. the worker was knocked to the ground when the aircraft tug the worker was driving was struck by the wing of Trans States Airlines plane.
The worker was transported to an area hospital because of injuries sustained in the incident. The extent of the worker's injuries is not known.
The collision happened on the tarmac in an area north of the National Guard hanger.
The plane was moving from a hanger to an aircraft parking area when the collision occurred.
