St. Louis (KSDK) - This Sunday, one year ago, a tornado was headed for Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.
When it hit, it did millions of dollars in damage.
On Friday, airport leaders showed off some of the progress they've made on repairs in the last year.
You can certainly tell the airport is still under construction. Not only was there the tornado damage, but Lambert is undergoing renovations, too. However, there is a lot of pride in the progress made so far.
Perhaps the best way to appreciate how much has been repaired is to take a look back at what the airport looked like, one year ago, when it was hit by an EF-3 tornado.
