Collinsville, IL (KSDK) -- The Major Case Squad has been activated in the Metro East, the Collinsville Police Department says.

Investigators say police were called to the 900 block of St. Clair Court Monday evening to investigate a suspicious death.

Not long after that, the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis was called in.

The victim has not been identified.
