Fort Lauderdale, FL (WSVN/CNN) - A former armored truck guard suspected of fatally shooting his co-worker and walking away with $2.3 million two months ago is in custody.
The FBI arrested Ken Konias Jr. in Pompano Beach, Florida Tuesday and was escorted to a federal court.
The FBI says they recovered between $1.3 and $1.5 million dollars of the stolen cash.
The money was stashed at the home where Konias was caught and at a storage locker.
Police say Konias killed his former Garda Cash Logistics colleague before taking the cash and ditching the truck under a bridge in Pittsburgh.
He's now being held without bond pending extradition to Pittsburgh.
